To prevent confusion support statements and petitions should include full text of the resolution including the amendment. Please also state that a Constitutional Convention is not desired, nor is any change to that procedure.

About Us

In April, 2017 the organization "An Amendment to Repair, Restore & Safeguard the Political Process" incorporated as RepairRestoreSafeguard, Inc.

We are currently filing for exemption as a 501c4 social welfare organization. This means donations will not be tax-deductible. And as an anti-corruption organization, we do not intend to take advantage of donor anonymity. All donors' initials, towns, states and the amount donated will appear on this website.

A preliminary version of the amendment was submitted to Congress in January, 2015 and sent to 7,300 Americans. After a period of public comment it was withdrawn for correction. Thank you for participating! The final version was submitted to the 114th Congress on June 12, 2015, voiding the prior Congressional submission and any public support conveyed to Congress. It is for all intents and purposes a new amendment. It was resubmitted to the 115th Congress on January 23, 2017.
